Do you go to your clients instead of them coming to you? Google Places, the service that gets your business showing up on Google Maps now let’s you say We’ll come to you! and specify the areas in which you’ll do business. So if you’re a consultant or your staff go out, primarily, to your clients this is great news for you.

Setting this Google Places feature up couldn’t be simpler. Go to google.com/places and log in. Assuming you have a listing, just click Edit and then scroll down. You’ll see an option for “Yes, this business serves customers at their locations”. Once selected you’ll be able to specify your coverage area.
